You'll help build our customer base, strengthen existing accounts, and keep day-to-day operations running smoothly at our LA facility. The position blends commercial and operational work. Your primary focus is sales, customer service, and contract review, with hands-on support for production planning and technical processing. It's a customer-facing role that suits someone with real heat treating or vacuum processing experience — not a desk-only sales job. What you'll do Sales and business development Grow revenue with existing accounts and reactivate dormant customers Handle quoting, follow-up, and ongoing relationship management Identify new opportunities across aerospace, defense, and general industrial markets Work directly with customers on requirements, turnaround times, and service needs Contract and order review Review incoming orders and customer requirements before release to production Verify specifications, materials, and processing requirements Confirm special instructions and reduce contract review errors and processing risk Customer service Act as the primary point of contact for customers Resolve issues around orders, quality concerns, timing, and communication Drive responsiveness and account retention Operations support Work alongside our production lead on coordination and load prioritisation Help schedule work to meet delivery commitments Keep work flowing between the front office and the shop floor Technical and process support Advise on vacuum processing, heat treat requirements, and job suitability Support training of less experienced team members Help maintain operational discipline as the LA site scales What we're looking for Hands-on background in heat treating and vacuum processing Proven sales or account management experience, ideally in an industrial or contract manufacturing setting Familiarity with aerospace or defense processing requirements and specifications Comfortable moving between customer conversations and the shop floor in the same day Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel locally to customer sites What we offer Base salary: $90,000 per year, paid bi-weekly
