Director of Sales - West Arvada, CO 80002 Apply Overview Salary Range $150,000.00 - $150,000.00 Salary/year Level Experienced Position Type Full Time Job Shift Day Education Level Not Specified Category Sales Apply Description Job Purpose & Summary Reporting to the VP Sales, North America, this key position requires a skilled leader with an exceptional sales management experience and ability to drive the business using their own initiative. The primary objective of this position is to develop, coach and manage successful sales territory managers. Analyzes activities required to achieve the company's sales goals on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis. Proposes and executes policies and programs to achieve maximum sales volume potential for products and/or services. Designs and applies the sales objectives, strategy and sales plan. Duties and Responsibilities Must have a strong track record with hands-on leadership in managing direct sales teams. This position will involve managing the overall sales within the assigned region and must have demonstrated skills / abilities in the following areas: Strong leadership and communication skills to enable effective collaboration with senior executives, co-workers, end-customers and distributors Excellent presentation and organizational skills Direct and coordinate company sales functions Develop and coordinate sales selling cycle and methodology Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of sales, methods, costs, and results Promote positive relations with partners Manage the development and maintenance of key physician/clinician relationships in conjunction with Marketing Determine effective product positioning strategies for alignment of product messaging within the sales organization Conduct regular meetings with the marketing team and senior executives to ensure alignment of marketing programs, markets and sales efforts Support the company's participation in conventions, workshops and special events throughout the region Recruit, train, supervise and evaluate sales staff Qualifications Industry experience: 5+ years in medical device sales Experience in strategic planning and execution. Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule Bachelor Degree - Business related degree preferred Ability to work successfully in a highly energized environment with multiple projects and deadlines Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule Willing to travel up to 50% Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in Microsoft Office software and Salesforce.com Share job details to
