The Retention Sales Director LMN owns the sales process for large, mega and not-for-profit at-risk plans. The Retention Sales Director proactively works with the relationship management team to identify at risk plans and ensure Empower is well positioned to retain the relationship. Will also own the sales strategy from start to finish and executing successful RFPs, finals presentation, site visits, and contract negotiations. What you will do Work with leadership and relationship management teams to identify at-risk clients Attend committee meetings with the RM in advance of RFPs to understand client needs, objectives, and sensitivities Establish and execute clear sales strategies to ensure retention Position Empower and Empower Investment product offerings to enhance participant outcomes Utilize all internal resources to ensure client satisfaction and retention Lead the RFP response process Lead finalist presentations including team assembly, preparation, and delivery Lead contract negotiations and involve leadership and relationship management as appropriate Document all activity and strategy in Salesforce Partner with all internal departments supporting recordkeeping, LMN leadership team, relationship management team, participant communications and education team and all levels within Empower Investments What you will bring Bachelor's degree 10 plus years' experience in the recordkeeping industry Strong knowledge of Empower recordkeeping Relationship and sales experience in recordkeeping industry FINRA Series 6, 63 required within established timelines What will set you apart Master's degree preferred Strategic thinker that understands all aspects of clients' needs as relevant to Empower's offerings
