Job Description
Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Harley-Davidson Assistant Sales Manager, where you will play a pivotal role in driving high-end motorcycle sales and delivering exceptional customer experiences. This energetic position combines leadership, strategic sales initiatives, and customer engagement to elevate our dealership's performance. You will support the Sales Manager in managing daily operations, developing sales pipelines, and fostering a passionate environment for motorcycle enthusiasts. Responsibilities Assist in leading the sales team to achieve monthly and annual sales targets through strategic planning and motivation. Provide training and support to sales staff and assist with closing deals. Work directly with customers to develop enriching relationships that improve client happiness and fuel the sales process. Demonstrate leadership by setting a clear vision and goals for the sales targeted performance. Provide exceptional customer service through professional phone etiquette, personalized consultations, and ongoing support post-sale. Lead the negotiation process ensuring that customers understand their vehicle purchase options and pricing. Assist in retail math calculations for pricing strategies, profit margins, and sales performance analysis. Qualifications Proven experience in retail automotive or motorcycle sales; dealership experience is highly preferred. Knowledge and experience with sales of F&I products, and other products sold by the dealership, or the demonstrated ability to quickly learn them. Excellent negotiation skills combined with organizational skills to manage multiple client interactions effectively. Must be able to work effectively with all areas of the dealership to maximize both the buying experience for the customer and the profitability of the dealership. Proficiency with CRM software for managing leads and sales pipelines; familiarity with inventory management systems is advantageous. Exceptional communication skills—both verbal and written—and public speaking capabilities to confidently present products and conduct demonstrations. Experience with upselling techniques, outbound calling campaigns, and retail math calculations. Knowledge of automotive or motorcycle industry standards including inventory control, retail math, and customer service best practices. Clean driving record and valid motorcycle endorsement.
Pay:
$80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per yearBenefits:
