Job Description We're Hiring A multi-family District Manager for our Multi-family Portfolio in the South Florida market. In this role you would be leading efforts to improve both our people and our assets. Extensive travel within the portfolio is required; you may be asked to support multiple properties within the area. We're looking for you To lead and support onsite Property Management Operations. This job is an important component of our long-term asset development goals and the core of that is to train, coach, and develop our people. We need an encouraging and hands on person to step in when necessary, complete projects, and help to motivate the onsite teams. A few of your responsibilities Stay informed about your communities; visit each property frequently to inspect and audit the physical conditions and operations onsite and develop strategies and redevelopment plans for each asset. Analyze financial statements and make necessary operating adjustments to improve the revenue streams and cost efficiencies. Conduct follow-up activity as needed with new and current residents. Maintain positive working relationships with residents, vendors, and contractors. Review and approve payment for invoices from individual properties weekly to avoid late payments. Prepare annual property budgets with realistic goals to increase operating income while reducing expenses. Conduct interviews and hire management and maintenance staff at individual communities. Act as a liaison between The Vice President, Regional Manager, Corporate Accounting and the Community Managers by relaying new information and corporate standards. Coach and evaluate your Community Managers' performance; offer positive, encouraging, and motivational leadership to your team at every level. The District Manager is responsible for setting and maintaining our objectives regarding onsite marketing, quality control, pricing and concession programs, and our high level standard of service within the assigned portfolio. You'll be key in maximizing the long-term operating performance of your portfolio by implementing and repositioning strategies. The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $120,000 depending on qualifications, experience, market, location, etc Qualifications Experience & Strengths you'll need: At least 5 years within the Multifamily industry, as well as a Bachelor's or Associates degree is ideal. A professional designation (CAM, ARM, CPM, etc.) is ideal but not required A proven track record of leading performance improvement and developing multifamily assets Strong Marketing/Leasing experience and a thorough knowledge of all applicable Federal and State Fair Housing Laws. Strong financial reporting, organization, and accounting skills; this role is directly responsible for onsite functions such as rent collection and AP/AR reconciliations and requires a thorough attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; amazing interpersonal relations skills with a high degree of professionalism both as a motivator and representative of our culture and Company Strong computer proficiency: this role needs a good familiarity with Entrata, Excel, and Microsoft Word.
