Job Description

DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT PRIME
Orthopedics & Regenerative Center | Delray Beach, Florida PRIME Orthopedics & Regenerative Center is seeking an experienced Director of Operations and Business Development to help grow the practice while strengthening its daily operations. The primary focus of this role is business development. We are looking for a proven rainmaker with an established South Florida network who can generate personal injury and workers' compensation, and overall referrals through existing relationships with attorneys, adjusters, nurse case managers, employers, chiropractors, physicians, and other referral sources. The role will also lead local, boots on the ground outreach for personal injury, workers' compensation, cash services such as regenerative medicine, orthopedic care, sports medicine, and cash services by developing relationships with chiropractors, primary care physicians, physical therapists, gyms, trainers, wellness providers, and community organizations. In addition, this individual will help oversee office operations, staff performance, patient flow, referral management, and the systems necessary to support continued growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Development Generate personal injury and workers' compensation referrals. Only candidates with experience and built-in relationships will be considered. Activate an established network to create immediate introductions and business opportunities. Build and maintain relationships with attorneys, adjusters, case managers, employers, chiropractors, physicians, and physical therapists. Conduct regular in person outreach throughout South Florida. Develop local referral pathways for regenerative medicine, PRP, shockwave therapy, orthopedic care, and cash services. Represent PRIME at meetings, networking events, educational programs, and community functions. Track referral sources, new relationships, patient volume, conversion rates, and business generated. Create a structured outreach plan with measurable weekly and monthly goals. Coordinate with outside marketing vendors when digital campaigns support business development objectives. Operations Help oversee daily practice operations, staff accountability, patient flow, scheduling, and the overall patient experience. Establish and improve office procedures, workflows, and performance standards. Monitor referral intake and ensure new patients are contacted, scheduled, and followed through appropriately. Identify operational issues that may limit growth, efficiency, collections, or patient satisfaction. Support staff training, hiring, onboarding, performance management, and accountability. Work with billing and administrative teams to improve documentation, collections, and communication. Monitor operational and financial performance indicators and provide regular reports to practice leadership. Ensure the practice can efficiently accommodate increased personal injury, workers' compensation, regenerative medicine, and cash patient volume. Work directly with the physician owner to implement growth initiatives and improve overall practice performance.
QUALIFICATIONS
At least three to five years of successful healthcare business development, medical practice operations, physician liaison, legal marketing, or healthcare leadership experience. An established South Florida network within personal injury, workers' compensation, healthcare, or related referral driven industries. A documented history of generating measurable referrals, patient volume, or revenue. Experience overseeing employees, workflows, patient service, and daily medical office operations. Strong leadership, communication, relationship building, organization, and follow through skills. Ability to work independently, solve problems, and remain accountable for measurable results. Willingness to spend significant time in the field while remaining actively involved in practice operations. Candidates should be prepared to provide specific examples of referrals generated, relationships developed, operational improvements implemented, and measurable practice growth achieved. This position offers substantial autonomy, direct access to practice leadership, and the opportunity to play a major role in the growth and daily performance of a physician led orthopedic and regenerative medicine practice. Compensation will be commensurate with experience, demonstrated results, operational leadership, and the strength of the candidate's existing referral network.
