DUTIES:
Responsible for establishing and coordinating all marketing and sales strategies, plans, programs, and functions. Open new markets and wholesaler distribution for wine & spirits across the US, Latin America, and the Caribbean. Counsel export team members for all the export activities. Develop new wine & spirit brands to introduce across company's distribution channels. Identify, develop, and evaluate marketing strategy, based on knowledge of the objectives of the company, market characteristics, and cost and markup factors. Formulate, direct, and coordinate marketing activities to promote products, working with advertising and/or promotion managers. Develop pricing strategies, balancing the objectives of the company and customer satisfaction. Use sales forecasting or strategic planning to ensure the sale and profitability of products, analyzing business developments and monitoring market trends. Negotiate contracts with vendors or distributors in the US, Latin America, and the Caribbean, to manage product distribution, establishing distribution networks or developing distribution strategies. Coordinate or participate in promotional activities or trade shows to market companys products. Initiate market research studies or analyze their findings. Consult with buying personnel to gain advice regarding the types of products expected to be in demand. Conduct economic or commercial surveys to identify potential markets for products. Advise company on local, national, or international factors affecting the buying or selling of products. Select products or accessories to be displayed at trade or special production shows.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors degree in International Business with concentration in Economics, or foreign equivalent 2 years of experience in job offered or as Regional Manager (Wine Industry). Due to nature of job, Bilingual English/Spanish required to perform job duties/functions Travel approximately 4-5 times per year within the U.S. and various locations in Latin America and the Caribbean.
