This role is scoped as a working sales management position: hands-on ownership of a defined book of national accounts and distributor relationships, with day-to-day execution paired with segment-wide strategic authority. The Sales Manager will work closely with Customer Service, Account Management, and sales leadership to retain and expand relationships with major chain accounts and distribution partners, while feeding market intelligence up to leadership. This position reports to the VP, Sales - North America Contract, and is onsite based in Miami, with moderate travel required. Key Responsibilities Manage and grow a defined portfolio of national restaurant chain and foodservice distributor accounts, serving as day-to-day point of contact. Maintain and strengthen relationships with major distributor partners (e.g., foodservice equipment dealers, buying groups) and directly with chain operators/franchise groups. Own the sales process for assigned accounts from quoting through order support and post-sale follow-up, in coordination with Customer Service. Support renewal and expansion conversations with existing high-volume accounts rather than primarily net-new prospecting. Collaborate with Customer Service Representatives and Account Managers who handle day-to-day servicing of the broader NRA account base, ensuring consistent coverage across the segment. Escalate and resolve account-level issues (pricing, program terms, order/ship-to setup) that require sales management involvement. Participate in relevant trade shows (e.g., National Restaurant Association Show) and distributor events to support pipeline and relationship development. Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline tracking, and forecasts for assigned accounts. Report segment trends, account health, and competitive intelligence to sales leadership. Ideal Qualifications & Experience Primary Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred. 3-5 years of experience in B2B sales or account management, ideally in foodservice equipment, restaurant supply, or a distributor-driven sales model. Experience managing a portfolio of established accounts and distributor relationships rather than purely new-logo acquisition. Strong communication and organizational skills, comfortable managing a high volume of accounts at varying deal sizes. Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite. Preferred Familiarity with the restaurant chain / QSR foodservice buying process (corporate purchasing, approved-vendor programs, national account pricing agreements). Existing relationships with foodservice distributors or dealer networks. Experience working alongside a Customer Service or inside-sales team supporting a shared account base.
