Lake Butler Hospital is a critical access hospital in North Florida providing 24-hour emergency services, inpatient hospitalization, short-term rehab inpatient programs, rehabilitation services, outpatient laboratory, outpatient radiology services and more to Union County and the surrounding counties. We are devoted to providing all members of our community with premier-quality health care in a compassionate and inviting environment. We are seeking a knowledgeable Director of Business Development to join our team! The Director of Business Development is responsible for growing patient volumes and expanding awareness of Lake Butler Hospital's inpatient, outpatient, and specialty services throughout the communities we serve. This position serves as the hospital's primary relationship builder with primary care practices, employers, community organizations, larger hospital systems, specialty providers such as orthopedics, schools, and other referral sources. The Business Development Director is the "face of the hospital" in the community, actively developing partnerships that increase referrals and utilization of hospital services while strengthening the hospital's reputation for quality, convenience, and exceptional patient care. Success in this position is measured by measurable increases in patient volumes, provider referrals, new business relationships, and community engagement. Success Profile A successful Director of Business Development is highly visible throughout the community, known by providers and community leaders, proactively identifies opportunities for growth, and consistently converts relationships into increased utilization of Lake Butler Hospital services. This individual serves as an ambassador for the hospital, helping ensure that patients, providers, and employers think of Lake Butler Hospital first when healthcare services are needed.
Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field. Seven to ten years of healthcare business development, physician/provider relations, healthcare sales, marketing, or related experience. Demonstrated ability to build professional relationships. Excellent public speaking and presentation skills. Strong written and verbal communication abilities. Valid driver's license with reliable transportation. Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a rural healthcare setting. Knowledge of Critical Access Hospitals and rural healthcare. Experience working with physicians and healthcare providers. Existing professional relationships within the region are preferred.
