This role requires a dynamic leader capable of managing high-performing sales teams, driving new business development, and strengthening key customer relationships. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in sales leadership, with a focus on delivering results and aligning closely with overall business goals. Position Responsibilities Sales Strategy and Leadership Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet or exceed company revenue targets Identify market opportunities and adjust sales tactics to remain competitive and relevant Lead the sales forecasting process and manage sales pipeline reporting Team Management and Development Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team Set clear performance goals and provide regular coaching to ensure team success Foster a results-oriented and collaborative sales culture Customer Relationship Management Cultivate and expand relationships with key clients and partners Oversee negotiations and major client engagements to ensure value and satisfaction Collaborate with internal teams to deliver solutions tailored to customer needs Business Development and Market Expansion Identify and penetrate new markets, accounts, and verticals Lead initiatives that drive brand awareness and sales growth Attend industry events and represent the company in relevant business forums Prerequisites Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles Experience managing regional or national sales teams Strong business acumen with excellent negotiation and communication skills Ability to think strategically and execute tactically in a fast-paced environment Comfortable with CRM tools and sales performance platforms Certifications (Preferred, but Not Required) Certified Sales Leadership Professional (CSLP) Strategic Sales Management Certification Sandler Sales or Challenger Sales Methodology Training What the Role Offers Competitive base salary between $120,000 and $130,000 annually Leadership role with high visibility and strategic influence Performance-driven culture with opportunities for career growth Permanent position with a 25% placement fee Comprehensive compensation package including bonus potential and benefits Why Lakeland?
