Roofing Sales Manager J & M Roofing Santa Rosa and Escambia County Florida Full Time Compensation Base Salary Plus Commission J & M Roofing is seeking an experienced Roofing Sales Manager to lead and grow our residential roofing sales operation. This is not an entry-level sales position. The successful candidate must have direct roofing sales experience, a proven record of producing results, and the ability to manage both individual sales performance and a growing sales team. Responsibilities Recruit, train, motivate, and manage roofing sales representatives. Establish sales goals, activity expectations, and accountability standards. Generate personal roofing sales while developing the sales team. Monitor leads, appointments, inspections, proposals, follow-ups, closing rates, and completed sales. Conduct regular sales meetings, coaching sessions, and performance reviews. Develop neighborhood canvassing, referral, retail, and storm-response strategies. Ensure estimates, contracts, photographs, measurements, and customer information are completed accurately. Coordinate closely with management, office staff, estimators, and production personnel. Maintain a professional customer experience from the initial lead through project handoff. Ensure the sales team complies with company policies and all applicable Florida roofing and insurance-related regulations. Help establish a disciplined, accountable, and results-driven sales culture. Required Qualifications Roofing sales experience is required. Previous sales-management or team-leadership experience is strongly preferred. Proven roofing sales performance with verifiable results. Strong closing, negotiation, follow-up, and customer-service skills. Ability to recruit, train, coach, and hold salespeople accountable. Experience using roofing CRM, estimating, measurement, and lead-management systems. Strong organizational and communication skills. Professional appearance and dependable transportation. Valid driver's license. Ability to work in the field, inspect properties, meet homeowners, and attend company meetings. Compensation This position offers a competitive base salary plus commission. The final compensation package will be based on the candidate's roofing-sales experience, management background, and proven production history.
