Through our nationally recognized Corporate Work Study Program, students gain meaningful professional experience at leading South Florida organizations while earning a portion of the cost of their education. We are seeking a highly motivated and relationship-driven Director of Corporate Partnerships to expand the network of organizations participating in the Corporate Work Study Program. Position summary The Director of Corporate Partnerships is responsible for identifying, cultivating, securing, and retaining corporate partners that provide meaningful work-study opportunities for Cristo Rey Miami students. This is a business-development and relationship-management position. The successful candidate will build a strong partnership pipeline, convert prospective organizations into active Corporate Work Study partners, strengthen existing relationships, and help generate the revenue required to support the program and the School's mission. The ideal candidate is a persuasive communicator and disciplined relationship builder who understands Miami's business community and can confidently engage executives, business owners, nonprofit leaders, and community stakeholders. Key responsibilities Develop and execute a strategic plan to secure new Corporate Work Study partners throughout Miami-Dade and South Florida. Build and maintain an active pipeline of prospective corporate partners across industries. Conduct targeted outreach through calls, emails, meetings, presentations, networking events, referrals, and community engagement. Present the Corporate Work Study Program's value proposition to executives, decision-makers, and prospective partners. Move prospective partners through the complete relationship-development process, from initial contact through agreement and student placement. Meet established annual goals for new partnerships, partner renewals, program revenue, and pipeline activity. Cultivate and retain existing corporate partners through consistent communication, responsive service, and meaningful engagement. Identify opportunities to expand existing partnerships and deepen organizations' involvement with Cristo Rey Miami. Prepare partnership proposals, presentations, agreements, correspondence, and follow-up materials. Maintain accurate and timely records of prospects, meetings, partnership status, commitments, and next steps. Monitor partnership performance and provide regular pipeline, revenue, renewal, and forecasting reports. Collaborate closely with Corporate Work Study leadership and coordinators to ensure partner expectations align with student readiness and program capacity. Coordinate with Advancement, Marketing, Admissions, Finance, and School leadership when partnership opportunities involve multiple departments. Represent Cristo Rey Miami professionally at business meetings, networking events, conferences, community events, and School functions. Remain informed about the South Florida business environment and identify industries and organizations with strong partnership potential. Protect confidential student, partner, financial, and School information. Perform other duties reasonably related to the position and the School's mission. Demonstrated success developing relationships and securing revenue-producing partnerships, contracts, sponsorships, or comparable commitments. Strong professional network or demonstrated ability to build relationships within Miami-Dade and South Florida. Excellent presentation, negotiation, written communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate confidently with senior executives, business owners, community leaders, and other decision-makers. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple prospects, deadlines, and follow-up commitments. Experience using a CRM or another system to track outreach, relationships, pipelines, and results. Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and standard business-productivity tools. Ability and willingness to travel locally for meetings, events, and partner visits. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to work on-site and occasionally attend evening or weekend events. Commitment to ethical conduct, confidentiality, student safety, and professional boundaries. Ability to support and advance the mission and values of Cristo Rey Miami High School. Preferred qualifications Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, nonprofit management, education, or a related field. Experience working with corporate work-study programs, educational institutions, nonprofit organizations, workforce-development programs, or mission-driven organizations. Established relationships within South Florida's corporate, nonprofit, civic, or philanthropic communities. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish or English and Haitian Creole. Screening and employment requirements Employment is contingent upon successfully completing all School-required pre-employment and safeguarding requirements, which may include background screening, fingerprinting, reference verification, drug screening, safe-environment training, and mandated-reporter training. Physical and working conditions The position regularly requires working in an office and school environment, attending off-site meetings and events, communicating by telephone and video conference, using a computer for extended periods, and traveling locally.
