Job Description
Sales Manager Badger Bob's is seeking an entrepreneurial, experienced Sales Manager to lead a high-performing, performance-driven sales team. We are looking for a dynamic leader who is passionate about sales, developing people, and delivering a 5-star customer experience. The Sales Manager will be responsible for leading, coaching, recruiting, and motivating a team of outside Comfort Specialists while driving sales growth and achieving company goals and targets. This is a hands-on leadership role . The successful candidate will spend approximately 50% of their time in the field supporting and coaching sales professionals and 50% in the office focused on team management, training, reporting, one-on-one meetings, and administrative responsibilities. The ideal candidate is competitive, highly motivated, emotionally intelligent, and able to inspire others to reach their full potential. What You'll Do Lead, manage, coach, and hold accountable a high-performing team of Outside Homa Comfort Advisors. Partner closely with sales lead generators to maximize opportunities and improve lead conversion. Establish clear direction, expectations, performance standards, and measurable sales objectives. Monitor and manage key sales metrics, activity levels, reporting, and business processes. Build upon prior-year sales performance and identify opportunities for continued growth. Provide ongoing coaching, constructive feedback, and performance management to sales team members. Develop measurable performance improvement and individual development plans when needed. Conduct weekly sales training and additional training as needed on: Product knowledge Sales presentations Customer engagement Follow-up strategies Closing techniques Lead conversion Sales processes and procedures Develop and expand lead-generation opportunities through self-generated leads, technician-generated leads, community events, home shows, partnerships, and other channels. Analyze sales trends, market conditions, product performance, customer preferences, and competitive activity to identify opportunities. Maintain strong working relationships across all areas of the organization. Introduce new sales initiatives and strategies designed to drive continued growth. Recruit, attract, develop, and retain top sales talent. Align company objectives with individual sales goals and performance expectations. Serve as a visible sales leader who motivates the team and leads by example. Perform other duties as assigned. What We're Looking For 3-5 years of successful B2C sales leadership experience with demonstrated results against established sales goals and objectives. High school diploma or GED required, Bachelor's degree in business or a related field preferred; equivalent sales leadership experience will be considered. Proven ability to develop sales professionals and consistently improve individual and team performance. Demonstrated ability to attract, recruit, develop, and retain top sales talent. Strong understanding of sales metrics, performance management, and accountability. Competitive mindset with the ability to understand market dynamics and coach a team accordingly. Entrepreneurial approach with the ability to identify and implement new opportunities for growth. Strong verbal and written communication skills. High level of self-awareness and emotional intelligence. Ability to build strong relationships and work collaboratively across departments. Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively in both a field-based and office environment. Willingness and ability to travel between Metro Atlanta and Macon branches. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
