Call center operates Monday-Saturday; manager schedule includes some Saturday coverage Reports To Director of Sales / General Manager Direct Reports Team of inbound sales and scheduling representatives About Ox Floors Ox Floors is a locally owned flooring company serving homeowners across the Treasure Coast. We help customers choose and install beautiful, durable flooring, and our call center is the front door to that experience. Every project starts with a phone call, a web inquiry, or a text, and our team turns that first contact into a booked in-home estimate. We are growing, and we are looking for a leader who can build a high-performing, customer-obsessed team in our Stuart office. Position Summary The Call Center Manager owns the day-to-day performance of our inbound lead and scheduling team. You will lead, coach, and hold accountable a team of representatives who answer inbound calls, respond to web and text inquiries, qualify leads, and book in-home flooring estimates for our sales consultants. You will be measured on speed-to-lead, contact rate, appointment set rate, show rate, and the overall customer experience. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who loves the energy of a sales floor, knows how to coach reps to hit their numbers, and takes pride in making sure no lead falls through the cracks. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership & Coaching Lead, motivate, and manage a team of inbound sales and scheduling representatives, including hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, and performance reviews. Conduct daily huddles, weekly one-on-ones, and regular call reviews to coach reps on qualification, objection handling, and booking technique. Set clear individual and team goals; recognize top performers and address underperformance quickly and constructively. Build a positive, competitive, customer-first culture on the floor. Lead Management & Performance Own speed-to-lead and ensure every inbound call, web form, chat, and text inquiry receives a fast, professional response during and after business hours.

Drive key metrics:

contact rate, appointment set rate, appointment show rate, reschedule recovery, and lead-to-estimate conversion. Manage the follow-up cadence for unbooked and unreached leads so that no opportunity is abandoned. Monitor call queues, staffing levels, and coverage to minimize hold times and missed calls, including Saturday and peak-season volume. Process, Systems & Reporting Develop and maintain call scripts, qualification criteria, scheduling guidelines, and standard operating procedures. Administer the CRM and phone system; ensure accurate lead entry, disposition coding, and appointment notes for the sales team. Produce daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports for leadership and identify trends, gaps, and opportunities. Partner with marketing to give feedback on lead quality and source performance. Cross-Functional Coordination Coordinate closely with sales consultants and the scheduling calendar to optimize estimate routing, territory coverage, and appointment quality. Resolve escalated customer concerns with professionalism and urgency. Support installation and customer service teams with confirmation calls, post-install follow-up, and review requests as needed. Qualifications Required 3+ years of experience managing or supervising a call center, inside sales, or appointment-setting team. Proven track record of hitting appointment-setting or sales targets and coaching others to do the same. Strong working knowledge of CRM and call center software (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, ServiceTitan, RingCentral, or similar). Data-driven mindset with the ability to read a dashboard, spot a problem, and act on it. Excellent communication, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills. Ability to work on-site in Stuart, FL, including some Saturday coverage. High school diploma or equivalent required. Preferred Experience in home improvement, flooring, home services, or another in-home sales environment. Experience building a team or scaling call center operations in a growing company. Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus. Bachelor's degree in business, communications, or a related field. Compensation & Benefits Base salary of $55,000

  • $70,000, depending on experience.
