Job Overview As an Automotive Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and delivering exceptional customer service in our dealership. You will be responsible for guiding customers through the purchasing process, understanding their needs, and providing them with tailored automotive solutions. Your ability to build relationships and negotiate effectively will be key to your success in this position. Duties Engage with customers to understand their automotive needs and preferences. Present and demonstrate vehicles, highlighting features and benefits to potential buyers. Manage inventory control by keeping track of available vehicles and ensuring proper display. Utilize effective phone etiquette to follow up with leads and maintain communication with customers. Negotiate sales terms and close deals while ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the process. Collaborate with the sales management team to develop strategies for increasing sales performance. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions within the dealership's system. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive buying experience. Skills Strong background in automotive sales with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Proficient in inventory management practices to ensure optimal stock levels. Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients. Effective public speaking abilities for presenting vehicles and features confidently to customers. Strong negotiation skills to facilitate successful transactions while maintaining customer satisfaction. Basic math skills for calculating payments, financing options, and discounts accurately. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
