Business Office Director - Arbor Terrace South Forsyth Arbor Terrace South Forsyth is an award-winning senior living community serving the South Forsyth area. As part of The Arbor Company , our community is dedicated to providing exceptional senior living through compassionate service, meaningful relationships, and a commitment to excellence. We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Business Office Director to join our leadership team. This is an excellent opportunity for a financial and administrative professional who enjoys working with people and wants to make a meaningful impact within a senior living community. About the Role The Business Office Director oversees the day-to-day financial, administrative, and human resources functions of the community. As a key member of the leadership team, this position works closely with department leaders, residents, families, and team members to ensure accurate financial processes, strong operational support, and an exceptional experience for everyone we serve. Key Responsibilities Manage resident billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and related financial processes Oversee payroll processes and ensure timely and accurate payroll administration Support monthly financial reporting, including P&L review and departmental spend-downs Maintain accurate financial, employee, and administrative records Coordinate HR processes including hiring, onboarding, employee documentation, and compliance Monitor completion of required employee training and ongoing compliance requirements Partner with community leadership on staffing, scheduling, and employee-related processes Assist residents and families with billing questions and account concerns with professionalism and compassion Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations Serve as a collaborative member of the community leadership team Preferred Background Associate or bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, human resources, or a related field preferred Three to five years of business office, financial management, accounting, or related experience Senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or other service-based industry experience strongly preferred Experience with billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll Familiarity with monthly P&L statements, budgeting, and departmental spend-downs Experience supporting HR functions, including hiring, onboarding, training, and employee records Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and follow-through Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to build positive relationships with residents, families, employees, and leadership Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Windows applications and financial, payroll, or accounting systems Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality Love What You Do and Where You Work at The Arbor Company At Arbor, we believe in serving from the heart.
