Responsibilities will include the creation, growth, and management of customer accounts, to include account prospecting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

Provide exceptional guest service to all customers. Account prospecting to create sales opportunities for GFCR group sales. Negotiating and closing sales as they relate to customer use of our event/meeting space, guest rooms, and other resort amenities. Plan and coordinate all group sales events. Manage the events as they take place to ensure flawless execution of customer expectations. This will include serving as primary contact for the group sales customer and act as a liaison between the customer, GFCR departments, and vendors. Follow up with site visits to existing corporate clients to help sell future business. Prepare written correspondence to guests. Enter data into sales software program. Set up new client files and maintain files for sales functions. Prepare billing and final event details for booked groups and events. Provide familiarization tours of the property to meeting planners and interested groups. Meet and greet group arrivals as needed. Keep current on all aspects of the resort. Keep all departments informed of bookings and reservations; communicate needs of the clients so all departments are prepared to meet the needs of the client. #hc262963
