Job Description

Frain Industries, Inc. | Carol Stream, IL | On-Site | Full-Time About Frain Industries Frain Industries is a growing, family-owned leader in processing and packaging equipment solutions. We help manufacturers across food, beverage, pharmaceutical, personal care, and industrial markets solve equipment challenges faster than anyone else — we own the inventory, know the machines, and move when our customers can't afford to wait. We're at an inflection point. Our sales model is evolving, and we're looking for a hands-on leader to drive the next chapter of growth. The Opportunity We're hiring a Director of Sales Performance to be the in-the-trenches leader our sales team needs. You'll work directly with our Account Managers and Sales Engineers — coaching daily, reinforcing new talk tracks, building follow-up discipline, and transforming how we engage and convert leads. This is not a strategy-from-30,000-feet role. This is for someone who lives on the sales floor, jumps into deals when they're going sideways, and builds the rituals that turn a talented team into a transformational one. Reports to the Sales & Marketing Manager. Works closely with the VP of Sales and ownership. What You'll Own Lead the sales model transition — train, reinforce, and refine a new multi-touch, multi-stakeholder selling motion across the team Drive web lead conversion — own execution of a systematic follow-up process and coach the team to engage decision-makers beyond the initial inquirer Build activity discipline — establish cadences, pipeline reviews, and accountability rhythms across 12 reps managing hundreds of active deals Develop the team — 1:1s, call reviews, ride-alongs, real-time coaching, and individual development plans Partner on tools and process — help shape how the team uses our ERP to drive performance Who You Are A senior B2B sales leader with a track record of developing high-performing teams Hands-on by nature — energized by being on the floor, not in a conference room Credible with reps — you don't carry a bag today, but you've carried one before and reps respect you when you step into a deal A builder of process and discipline who knows how to make new behaviors stick A change leader who has guided sales teams through methodology or motion shifts A coach first — past reps would say you made them better What We're Looking For 7+ years in B2B sales, with 3+ years leading sales teams Proven track record improving team performance through coaching, process, and accountability Experience leading a sales team through a methodology or motion change Comfort in high-volume environments (multiple reps, hundreds of active opportunities) Strong fluency with CRM and sales process design Industry experience in equipment, capital goods, or industrial distribution is a plus but not required On-site presence in Carol Stream, IL Why Frain Real, measurable impact — a clear mission with the resources to execute it Family-owned, growing, and stable — direct access to ownership, no corporate bureaucracy Path forward — meaningful career growth potential for the right leader Uncapped earning potential — competitive base plus uncapped performance incentive tied to measurable sales outcomes. . This role has significant earning potential well into the multiple six figures for a leader who delivers transformational results
