Business Development Manager Fuchs Lubricants Co. United States, Illinois, Harvey 17050 Lathrop Avenue (Show on map) Jul 21, 2026 Salary FUCHS offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience in a similar position. The salary range for this position is $150,000 - $165,000 per year plus annual bonus, but actual salary will vary depending upon a new hire's experience and qualifications as well as internal equity.
Your Responsibilities:
Explore and identify new opportunities for growth within the market for thermal interface materials (TIMs), especially in the segments data storage, data centers, telecommunication, ECU / computing and automotive components. Identify new target accounts and proactively build working relationships with prospects' key decision makers in engineering, purchasing, and manufacturing departments. Identify and develop new opportunities for FUCHS' portfolio of thermal interface materials (TIMs) with existing key accounts. Build expertise of the key accounts' worldwide activities, product portfolios and applications. Explore customer needs and pain points as well as risks for the customer and FUCHS' business relationship with the customer. Develop a growth strategy for
FUCHS' TIM
product portfolio in cooperation with other sales divisions in the U.S. as well as with FUCHS entities around the world (Americas, Europe, Asia-Pacific). Serve as interface between customers as well as prospects and internal stakeholders such as Product Management, R D, Administration, Purchasing, Production, Customer Service, Logistics and Marketing. Especially cooperate closely with Product Management to develop the product portfolio in line with the customers' technical and commercial requirements. Monitor trends and development in the industry and in international markets that might be relevant for FUCHS as well as our customers. Assist in investigating and researching existing and emerging markets. Develop and implement campaigns for sales growth and success. Represent FUCHS at tradeshows, seminars and other industry events. Qualifications we are looking for Skills Knowledge of Thermal Interface Materials market and the key players in the industry. Good communication & interpersonal skills (face to face and on the phone). Outstanding consultative selling abilities High degree of responsiveness to customer inquiries with attention to detail and follow-up Willingness to work under pressure and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously Strategic vision with advanced analytical interpretation and problem-solving skills Team spirit, open-mindedness, and intercultural skills Good computer skills with MS Office products. Ability to travel up to 75% throughout the U.S. and internationally Formal qualifications 5 years working experience in sales and/or key account management, preferably in a position that focused on selling technical products/materials Bachelor's degree, preferably in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline Must hold and maintain a valid passport These are your benefits FUCHS offers a challenging and rewarding working environment where employees are encouraged to develop and grow as professionals.
