Salary:
FUCHS offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience in a similar position. The salary range for this position is $140,000
•$155,000 per year, but actual salary will vary depending upon a new hire's experience and qualifications as well as internal equity.
Your Responsibilities:
The Sales Manager will report to the Director of Sales
•Industrial Division and will be responsible for providing leadership to the sales group in the North
•Central region. Carrying out development of sales representatives with specific focus on account management; developing new business and sales closing techniques; supporting the Director of Sales with input on strategic account management and divisional customer analysis; divisional P&L responsibilities are some of the main aspects of this role.
Supervisory Responsibility:
The position will have 4 direct reports with possible additional reports as dictated by the needs of the business.
Travel:
Approximately 50% within the territory, depending upon residence location
Geography
•Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin.
Qualifications we are looking for:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or Business required.
- At least 10 years of B2B sales experience in industrial consumable products required. Experience in the Lubricants or Chemical industries preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a leadership role.
- CRM experience (Salesforce desired)
- Demonstrated success in opening new business
- Solid understanding of direct selling concepts along with product and industry knowledge
- Ability foster collaborative relationship across inter-company departments and divisions
- Ability to travel overnight when needed
