JobSummary We are seeking an experienced and strategic Vice President of Sales to lead our sales organization across the Central region and drive sustainable, profitable growth in the HVAC industry. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for a proven sales executive who understands the HVAC market, knows how to build and develop high-performing sales teams, and has a track record of growing revenue, expanding market share, and strengthening customer relationships. As Vice President of Sales, you will help shape and execute the regional sales strategy while partnering closely with leadership and cross-functional teams across the organization. You will have the opportunity to influence our commercial strategy, develop sales talent, deepen strategic customer relationships, and identify new opportunities for growth. Job Duties & Responsibilities Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the Central region aligned with overall business objectives. Drive sustainable, profitable revenue growth and expansion of market share. Lead, coach, and develop sales leaders and high-performing sales teams. Build and strengthen relationships with key customers, strategic accounts, suppliers, and industry partners. Identify new business opportunities, markets, and customer segments to accelerate growth. Leverage industry and market insights to anticipate trends, identify opportunities, and respond to competitive dynamics. Establish and monitor sales performance metrics, forecasts, pipelines, and business plans. Partner with leadership and cross-functional teams across sales, pricing, operations, marketing, and customer functions. Develop strategies that improve customer retention, profitability, sales effectiveness, and overall commercial performance. Present sales performance, forecasts, market insights, and strategic recommendations to leadership. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, customer focus, continuous improvement, and high performance. Qualifications 10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, including experience leading sales teams and working with senior and executive leadership. Proven success developing and executing strategic business plans that drive revenue growth, profitability, and market expansion. Demonstrated track record of developing new business and expanding existing customer relationships. Strong leadership capabilities with experience coaching and developing sales leaders and high-performing teams. Deep knowledge of the HVAC industry, including market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics. Strong financial and commercial acumen, including knowledge of revenue, gross profit, margins, pricing, forecasting, and sales performance metrics. Strong executive presence and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage employees, customers, and senior leaders. Demonstrated ability to build strong customer and strategic partner relationships. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred. Experience in HVAC, wholesale distribution, building products, or a related industry strongly preferred. Willingness and ability to travel 50%+.
