Job Purpose:
As the Director of Sales for US Weight, you will be responsible for developing, executing, and overseeing comprehensive sales strategies that drive revenue growth across retail, ecommerce, and wholesale channels. You will lead the sales organization, build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, and identify new market opportunities to expand our industry footprint. The ideal candidate is a strategic, results-driven leader with a proven track record of scaling sales operations, negotiating high-level contracts, and delivering measurable revenue growth across diverse B2B and B2C channels. Essential Duties/Responsibilities Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company revenue, margin, and market share targets across retail, ecommerce, and wholesale divisions. Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to foster a high-performance culture focused on achieving and exceeding sales quotas. Cultivate and manage relationships with key national and regional retail buyers, negotiating pricing, placement, and promotional programs. Drive ecommerce sales strategy by partnering with marketing and digital teams to optimize online merchandising, promotional calendars, and third-party marketplace performance. Expand wholesale distribution networks by identifying, prospecting, and securing new high-value B2B partnerships. Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitive intelligence to forecast revenue and identify areas for strategic growth. Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, marketing, and product development teams to ensure sales strategies align with production capabilities and inventory levels. Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the sales team, providing regular reporting to executive leadership. Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree in business or management preferred. 7-10+ years of progressive sales experience, with at least 3+ years in a senior leadership or director-level role. Proven, hands-on experience successfully selling to and managing retail, ecommerce, and wholesale accounts. Strong financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets, forecast sales, and analyze profitability metrics. Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and communication skills. Strategic mindset with a demonstrated ability to translate high-level business goals into actionable sales initiatives. Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
