The DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Chicago - North Shore Conference Center in Skokie, IL is seeking a dynamic Business Transient Sales Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven sales professional to take ownership of their market, develop meaningful client relationships, and play an important role in the continued growth and success of our hotel.
What You'll Do:
As our Business Transient Sales Manager, your primary focus will be generating new business while growing and strengthening existing accounts. You'll develop strategic sales initiatives designed to increase revenue, expand market share, and create long-term partnerships.
Key responsibilities include:
Identify, prospect, and secure new business transient accounts Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients and key accounts Grow existing accounts by identifying additional revenue opportunities Conduct targeted sales calls, presentations, networking, and client outreach Research the local market and competitor accounts to uncover new business opportunities Develop strategic account management plans to meet and exceed revenue goals Build relationships within the local business community and participate in relevant trade and networking organizations Collaborate with hotel leadership and team members to support overall property performance

Our ideal candidate will have:
Strong sales, prospecting, and relationship-building skills Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills Effective written and verbal business communication The ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities A proactive, creative, and results-driven approach to sales Previous experience in hospitality, hotel sales, or a similar sales role preferred Previous Hilton experience is a plus Handles small-to-medium group bookings, corporate meetings, and catering events Create event orders, group resumes, and client menus while overseeing onsite setup and post-event follow-up Why Join Us? Compensation:
$63,000-$68,000 annually, based on experience. In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form (Form I-9) upon hire
