Job Description
We've Built the Machine. We Need Someone to Run It. Most dealerships hire a manager and hand them a list of problems. We're handing you a running operation and asking you to make it better. Best Choice Motors is one of the most trusted independent dealerships in the Lafayette market — 1,600+ customer reviews and a 4.7-star rating that we've earned one deal at a time. We've already made the investments: strong inventory, aggressive marketing, and a lender network that gets deals bought when other stores turn customers away. What we need is a leader who gets a sales floor to squeeze every bit of value out of those tools — and who can hold a desk when it matters. What You'll Lead Coach, develop, and hold accountable a sales team with far more opportunity in front of them than they're currently capturing Run daily sales meetings that actually change behavior — training, role play, and real one-on-ones, not roll call Own CRM discipline: follow-up completion, response times, and the calls that aren't getting made Desk and structure deals to maximize total gross — front and back — and work our lender relationships to get them approved and funded Drive a video and social media culture. Every salesperson should be producing walkarounds, delivery videos, and building a personal brand. This is not optional, and it starts with you Track the numbers daily — leads, appointments, shows, closing percentage, gross per unit — and know why each one moved Recruit, hire, and develop the next group of salespeople Who You Are You've run a floor before and you lead from it, not from behind a desk. You know that a manager's job isn't to take over the deal — it's to build people who don't need you to. And when a customer's credit is complicated, you know how to structure something that works instead of letting the deal die.
