Job Description
Business Development and Client Relations Manager Kelley Dental Laboratory is looking for a positive, personable, and relationship-driven professional to join our team as a Professional Relations & Business Development Representative. For nearly 50 years, Kelley Dental has built its reputation around Personalized Service, Experience, and Leading-Edge Technology . You'll serve as a primary liaison between Kelley Dental and the dental practices we serve, helping ensure our customers receive the responsive, personalized service they expect while supporting the continued growth of our business. This position is designed for someone who wants meaningful responsibility, enjoys building professional relationships, and values a schedule that allows more time outside of work. What You'll Do Your primary focus will be building, strengthening, and growing relationships with dental practices—both existing Kelley Dental customers and prospective new accounts. This includes maintaining strong customer relationships, identifying opportunities within existing accounts, and prospecting and developing new business. You'll also: Serve as a primary contact for doctors and dental teams Visit current and prospective customers throughout our local and regional markets in Kentucky, Indiana, and Ohio Plan customer events, continuing education programs, and follow-up activities Support marketing initiatives and customer communications Who We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is positive, personable, and engaged , communicates professionally, and takes ownership of their responsibilities. The ideal candidate is naturally curious, comfortable meeting new people, follows through consistently, and enjoys building long-term professional relationships. You should be comfortable prospecting, initiating conversations, developing trust, identifying opportunities, and confidently earning new business. We're seeking someone who is organized, dependable, responsive, and willing to help wherever needed. You should enjoy learning about our products, services, and evolving dental technology while representing Kelley Dental with professionalism and integrity. Experience in sales, business development, dentistry, healthcare, or another relationship-driven field is helpful, but dental laboratory experience is not required. The Schedule This position is designed around a predictable 32-hour workweek , generally Monday through Friday during daytime business hours. While there is a consistent baseline schedule, this is a relationship-driven role and some flexibility is expected. Regional territory days, an early Wednesday leadership meeting, and occasional evening customer events may require the workday or schedule to shift from time to time. We adjust the weekly schedule when needed to accommodate these commitments while maintaining the 32-hour workweek, using Friday for flexibility whenever possible. Most travel is local and completed within the business day. The goal is a predictable 32-hour workweek with reasonable flexibility when the needs of our customers or the business require it.
