Overview We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven General Sales Manager to lead our automotive sales team to new heights. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of the dealership's sales operations, develop strategic sales initiatives, and cultivate strong relationships with clients. Your energetic leadership will inspire your team to achieve and surpass sales targets, while ensuring exceptional customer service and a seamless buying experience. Main focuses will be on internet closing, sales training, and finance background is a bonus. We are a growing group and promotions will be available for the right performance. Responsibilities Lead and manage the automotive sales team, providing coaching, motivation, and performance feedback to drive results. Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to increase market share and meet or exceed sales targets. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through effective communication, negotiation, and personalized service. Oversee the entire sales pipeline from prospecting through deal closing, including outbound calls, B2B (business-to-business) interactions, and retail customer engagement. Utilize CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems to track leads, manage customer data, and optimize sales processes. Conduct regular training sessions on sales techniques, product knowledge, inventory management, and upselling strategies. Collaborate with inventory management teams to ensure optimal stock levels for passenger cars and high-end vehicles. Implement dealership policies for inventory control, deal closing procedures, and customer follow-up to maximize customer satisfaction. Engage in public speaking engagements or community events to promote the dealership's brand and attract new clients. Support the team in achieving high standards of phone etiquette, client communication, and professional presentation during all customer interactions. Qualifications Proven experience in automotive industry sales with a strong background in high-end or luxury vehicle sales. Demonstrated success in sales management roles with a track record of achieving or exceeding targets. Extensive knowledge of automotive financing options, inventory management, retail math, and dealership operations. Excellent negotiation skills combined with outstanding communication abilities in multiple languages (bilingual/multilingual skills are a plus). Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a busy sales pipeline effectively. Experience with CRM software and other sales support tools for tracking leads and managing customer relationships. Skilled in outbound sales techniques such as cold calling and B2B outreach to expand the client base. Exceptional customer relationship building skills paired with effective public speaking capabilities. Ability to lead a team through motivation, training, and performance management while fostering a positive work environment. $120,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
