a Business Development Manager to open a new location in Kansas City, KS! Opportunity comes with a base salary ranging from $70,000 - $80,000 annually, PLUS uncapped commission

This role requires prior experience in B2B sales within the light industrial staffing industry.
Summary:
The Business Development Manager is a goal-oriented, highly motivated person with a strong sales aptitude. The ideal candidate demonstrates a hunter mentality and a strong sense of urgency. This role is responsible for driving branch revenue, prospecting and closing new business opportunities, leveraging existing relationships, and maintaining a strong book of business.
Responsibilities:
- Develops and facilitates a personal sales strategy focused on financial gain and customer satisfaction. Collaborates with territory leadership to identify goals for long-term business growth.
- Conducts market research to identify prospective clients, generate personal sales leads, and promote company services with a consultative sales approach.
- Arranges business meetings with prospective clients. Utilizes a face-to-face sales tactic. Focuses on cold calling and promoting the company branch through door-to-door sales.
- Predicts and address client pain-points. Listens empathetically to the needs of established and prospective customers and proposes customized solutions with an exemplary service level.
- Negotiates contracts with clients to obtain mutually satisfactory agreements. Prepares sales contracts with adherence to law-established rules and guidelines.
- Provides trustworthy feedback and after-sales support to clients, maintaining an active relationship and growing existing accounts to meet larger revenue goals.
- Collaborates with branch team to confirm branch objectives and ensure total client satisfaction. Assists with urgent operation needs as required.
- Keeps record of sales, revenue, invoices, and other pertinent data. Reports branch performance to territory leadership with accuracy.
- Meets daily, weekly, and monthly sales quotas and KPIs. Logs all activities in company provided CRM and maintains an active sales pipeline.
- Supervises in-branch team.
Escalating issues pertaining to branch staff to territory leadership as needed.
Key Success Factors:
- Ability to negotiate contracts and close deals

- Understanding of recruitment processes, sourcing strategies, and candidate evaluation
- Awareness of industry trends, competitor landscape, and local market dynamics
- Understanding of financial metrics, sales forecasting, and revenue generation
- Proven working experience in business development, B2B sales or otherwise relevant area

MS Office and CRM Software Environment:
The Business Development Manager will travel to local businesses to promote and sell company services while managing the in-branch team. The Business Development Manager is expected to report to assigned branch location when not in the field. This role requires usage of a personal cell phone and personal transportation for business related communication and travel. Compensation package includes mileage reimbursement and a cell-phone allowance. #MidWest125
