a Regional Sales Director to open
NEW LOCATIONS
in Kansas City, KS and beyond! Opportunity comes with a base salary ranging from $80,000 - $90,000 plus
UNCAPPED
commission, PAID WEEKLY! Role requires prior experience in the light-industrial staffing industry.
Role Summary:
The Regional Sales Director is a goal-oriented, highly motivated person with strong B2B sales experience and staffing industry expertise. The ideal candidate demonstrates a hunter mentality, sense of urgency, and strong interpersonal skills. This role is responsible for leading sales and operations teams across three branches, devising and implementing business growth strategies, and maintaining a strong personal book of business.
Responsibilities:
  • Develops and facilitates territory growth strategies focused on financial gain and customer satisfaction. Collaborates with executive leadership to identify goals for long-term business growth and implement strategic plans of action.
  • Collaborates with branch teams to confirm daily and weekly objectives, ensure total client satisfaction, and provide operational and sales direction or support as needed.
  • Keeps record of sales, revenue, invoices, and other data pertaining to the performance of self, individual team members and branches, and overall territory. Reports territory performance to executive leadership promptly and with accuracy.
  • Conducts multi-market research to organize and direct sales teams, identify prospective clients, generate personal sales leads, and promote company services with a consultative sales approach.
  • Arranges business meetings with prospective clients. Utilizes a face-to-face sales tactic. Focuses on cold calling and promoting the company branch through door-to-door sales.
  • Predicts and address client pain points. Listens empathetically to the needs of established and prospective customers and proposes customized solutions with an exemplary service level.
  • Negotiates contracts with clients to obtain mutually satisfactory agreements. Prepares sales contracts with adherence to law-established rules and guidelines.
  • Provides trustworthy feedback and after-sales support to clients, maintaining an active relationship and growing existing accounts to meet larger revenue goals.
  • Coaches sales team members on best practices for establishing relationships, managing accounts, negotiating agreements, and other relevant sales activities. Assesses individual team members and institutes performances improvements plans as needed.
  • Coaches operations team members on best practices for generating sales leads, extracting orders, providing quality service, and other relevant operational and recruiting activities. Assesses individual team members and institutes performances improvements plans as needed.
  • Collaborates with corporate human resources team to make decisions regarding the hiring, training, discipline, and termination of internal staff across assigned territory.
  • Meets personal sales quotas while holding team members accountable for individual and branch performance goals.
Ensures the achievement of projected growth targets for branches and overall territory.
Key Success Factors:
  • Prior experience in management or leadership.
  • Awareness of staffing industry trends, competitor landscape, and local market dynamics.
  • Understanding of financial metrics, sales forecasting, and revenue generation.
  • Proven working experience in B2B sales and account management
  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM Software, and other basic computer skills
Work Setting:
The Regional Sales Director will travel between three branches on a regular basis. This role requires 60% travel or more. Overnight travel is required as needed. When not in the field, the Regional Sales Director will report to a branch location. The Regional Sales Director must provide a mobile phone and mode of transportation for business-related communication and travel.
