Job Description

The Regional Sales & Events Manager is responsible for driving special event revenue growth across all Surge Entertainment FEC park locations through proactive business development, structured event execution processes, pipeline management, and coordinated collaboration with park leadership and Executive Management. This role combines sales generation, event execution oversight, program development, and structured reporting while operating within clearly defined authority boundaries. 1. Regional Sales & Business Development Travel to all Surge Entertainment FEC parks as required. Generate new business through in-person visits, phone calls, email outreach, networking, and community engagement. Sell special event packages and experiences to local businesses, schools, churches, community organizations, and other groups. Actively prospect and develop new revenue opportunities in each market. Build, maintain, and grow a strong and measurable sales pipeline for every assigned location. Drive consistent revenue growth across all parks. 2. Work Schedule & Event Attendance Work daytime hours for outreach, relationship development, tours, and business communications. Work nights, weekends, and holidays as required to attend and support events that meet established minimum revenue thresholds. Maintain flexibility to support peak event seasons and community functions. 3. Lead Management & Customer Service Manage all outbound special event inquiries. Conduct site tours and professionally present proposals. Operate the company's event management platform (currently TripleSeat) to: Generate proposals, Prepare contracts, Ensure timely contract execution, Collect payments, Maintain accurate records Follow up with customers after events to gather feedback. Pursue repeat bookings and long-term client relationships. Handle non-commissionable inquiries, including one-off birthday parties and walk-in reservations, as part of delivering consistent customer service standards. 4. Event Coordination & Operational Alignment Work directly with park management and both FOH and BOH teams to coordinate special event execution. Ensure proper staffing levels are scheduled for booked events in coordination with park leadership. Confirm high-quality delivery of service, food, activities, and special requests. Maintain consistent communication between the customer, sales, and operations to ensure seamless execution. Ensure event details are clearly documented and properly communicated to park teams. 5. Special Event & Birthday Party Execution Train local park staff on birthday party and special event execution standards. Coordinate directly with guests to confirm expectations and deliverables. Oversee execution of birthday parties and special events to ensure consistency and high levels of customer satisfaction. Establish recommended coordination plans between kitchen staff, activity staff, managers, and event hosts. Develop structured, repeatable programs and execution standards to ensure birthday parties and special events are delivered consistently, efficiently, and profitably across all locations. Define process standards for event execution while working in collaboration with park leadership. 6. Reporting & Event Observations Document and provide structured written reports on event and birthday party execution. Complete and submit "Event Observation Forms" for events attended. Share observations with Executive Management and General Managers.
Identify:
Operational strengths, Areas requiring improvement, Clear action items, Best practices for replication across locations. Provide objective feedback while maintaining alignment with park leadership. 7. Authority & Operational Boundaries All operational changes must be reviewed and approved by Executive Management prior to implementation. This role does not have authority to terminate, discipline, send home, write up, or otherwise take corrective employment action against any employee. This role does not have authority to change non-event or non-birthday operational procedures. Any operational observations or concerns outside defined event processes must be reported to Executive Management. For immediate operational needs within a park, coordination must occur through the General Manager. This role defines and recommends event processes but does not hold direct operational authority over park staff or general park operations. 8. Performance Expectations Demonstrated revenue growth across assigned locations. Consistent expansion and management of a measurable and active sales pipeline. Increased event bookings and repeat business. High operational accuracy and documentation standards. Effective collaboration with park leadership and Executive Management. Development and implementation of scalable, repeatable birthday party and event execution programs.

$75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
