Director of Business Development - Post Acute
POSITION SUMMARY
The Post-Acute Business Development Director is responsible for driving growth and strategic partnerships across the post-acute continuum, including skilled nursing facilities, long-term acute care hospitals (LTACHs), and inpatient rehab facilities (IRFs). This role identifies opportunities, cultivates relationships, and executes strategies to increase the number of facilities utilizing Adfinitas providers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify and develop partnerships with post-acute facilities.
- Market and track marketing efforts to post-acute facilities through in Adfinitas Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software (Hubspot).
- Serve as the initial liaison between post-acute partners and internal teams to ensure seamless program implementation and high-quality patient care.
- Analyze market trends, referral patterns, and competitor activity to inform strategic growth planning.
- Collaborate with recruiting, credentialing, and the Post-Acute operations team to ensure alignment of post-acute growth strategies with programmatic Post-Acute Adfinitas goals.
- Develop and implement outreach programs to promote post-acute services.
- Representing the organization at industry conferences, networking events, and community outreach opportunities.
- Develop marketing material for meetings with potential clients
NEW BUSINESS
METRICSThe Post-Acute Business Development and Implementation Director will be expected to meet or exceed the following performance metrics (subject to quarterly review and adjustment):
New Programs Development:
Establish 4 initial meetings with new nursing facilities per month and implement six new programs per quarter.
Provider Recruiting:
Weekly meetings with Recruiting and staffing facilities within 3 months of facility agreeing to utilize Adfinitas Providers
Provider Credentialing:
Weekly meetings with Credentialing and Revenue Cycle Department to ensure expeditious credentialing of providers with facilities and payers
Pipeline Management:
Maintain an active pipeline of 20+ prospects with weekly follow-up activity documented in CRM.
Revenue Impact:
Contribute to a minimum of $8 million in new revenue generation ($400k in net income) from post-acute partnerships in year one.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, marketing, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in healthcare business development, preferably in a post-acute or care transition setting.
- Strong knowledge of the post-acute care continuum and value-based care models.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Proven ability to drive strategic growth and meet or exceed performance targets.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and presentation software - specifically Hubspot and PowerPoint.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Frequent travel to partner sites and healthcare facilities.
- Hybrid/remote options may be available depending on organizational needs.
- Salary range: $100K-$125K plus Incentive
