Motion Control Location:
Northeast United States Territory:
Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine, and Canadian provinces east of

Approximately 50% We are seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager - Motion Control to drive sales growth across the Northeast US and Eastern Canada. This is a highly customer-facing sales role focused on high-precision single- and multi-axis motion controllers, servo drives, motors and automation solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical understanding of motion control and automation systems, combined with a proven track record in technical sales and new business development. The successful candidate will be responsible for expanding existing accounts, developing new business opportunities and managing relationships with OEMs and Value-Added Resellers (VARs). Key Responsibilities
  • Drive sales growth across the assigned Northeast territory through existing account expansion and new customer acquisition.
  • Develop and execute a territory business plan focused on sustainable revenue growth and new business opportunities.
  • Identify and develop relationships with potential customers, OEMs and Value-Added Resellers.
  • Manage existing customers, projects and sales opportunities throughout the territory.
  • Regularly contact and visit existing and prospective customers.
  • Develop strategic proposals based on customer application requirements.
  • Prepare, present and follow up on quotations, converting opportunities into orders.
  • Manage the sales cycle from initial lead through order completion while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Use Salesforce or other CRM tools consistently to manage customer relationships, opportunities, forecasts and sales activity.
  • Work closely with technical teams to understand customer application requirements and develop appropriate solutions.
  • Develop strong knowledge of products and solutions, including their technical features, benefits and competitive advantages.
  • Monitor market trends, customer requirements and emerging opportunities and provide relevant feedback to marketing and product teams.
  • Respond to and manage incoming leads within the assigned territory.
  • Achieve annual sales growth targets, with a focus on approximately 20% year-over-year growth. Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering - Electrical or Mechanical Engineering required.
  • 4+ years of Motion Control sales experience required.
  • Strong understanding of servo systems, automation and motion control technologies.
  • Relevant technical knowledge across mechatronics, electrical systems and software.
  • Proven ability to develop new business and expand existing customer relationships.
  • Strong hunter mentality with a proactive, self-starting approach to sales.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience consistently using a CRM system; Salesforce experience is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability and willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time throughout the assigned territory.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with technical, sales and internal teams.
Pay:
$110,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
