We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sales Manager to join our dynamic team in our Portland, ME location. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual who thrives in a fast-paced sales environment and has a proven track record of leading successful sales teams. Responsibilities Lead and mentor a team of five direct reports, providing guidance, support, and coaching to drive their individual and collective success. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and maximize market share. Identify new business opportunities and cultivate relationships with key clients, fostering long-term partnerships. Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify areas for growth and develop effective sales strategies. Community engagement experience with proven ability to navigate and work with Chambers and other community associations Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product development, and operations teams to ensure alignment and seamless execution of sales initiatives. Monitor sales performance metrics, prepare regular reports, and present findings to senior management. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and emerging trends, providing insights and recommendations to enhance our sales approach. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus. Proven track record of at least 5 years in sales and/or applicable on the job experience with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets. Strong leadership abilities with experience managing a team of up to 7 direct reports. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively. Deep understanding of the sales process and a strategic mindset to drive business growth in the telecom industry. Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions. Familiarity with Salesforce CRM software is a plus Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events.
