Job Description

Business Development Manager Zajac is seeking a Business Development Manager to help expand customer relationships, identify new opportunities, and drive revenue growth across the business. This role is designed for a proactive professional who can build pipeline, lead proposals, support pricing strategy, and represent the company with professionalism and integrity. Position Overview The Business Development Manager is responsible for developing new business opportunities, identifying industry trends and customer needs, and building a short-, medium-, and long-term sales pipeline aligned with company targets. This person will work across teams to turn opportunities into contracts while helping shape strategy, outbound sales processes, and best practices. What You'll Do Build and strengthen customer relationships while identifying and developing new business opportunities. Research market trends, attend industry events, and monitor trade activity to help guide strategic decisions. Generate leads, connect with decision-makers, evaluate opportunities, and lead pitch and proposal activities, including RFP coordination and content development. Support deal strategy, pricing, contract negotiation, and integration of new work with business operations. Track performance metrics, report results, and collaborate with leadership and stakeholders on strategy and customer drivers. Help develop and implement outbound sales strategy, sales processes, and business development best practices across the organization. What We're Looking For Experience in business development, sales, account growth, proposals, or strategic partnerships. Strong relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills. Ability to assess opportunities using market, operational, and financial considerations. Confidence working independently, managing priorities, and communicating openly about risks, challenges, and progress. Professional judgment, discretion, and the ability to handle confidential information appropriately. A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively with internal managers and operational teams. Pay:
$100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
