Job Description
A-1 Truck Parts has been in business for 70+years. A-1 has been supplying customers with quality heavy duty truck parts and services, with a strong emphasis on customer service. A-1 is a division of the Auto Wares group of companies which is headquartered in Grand Rapids, Michigan. We are currently seeking a person for a Heavy Duty Territory Sales Manager position to serve the Central Lower Michigan. The stores are located in the Bay City area in Michigan. Cities included are Lapeer, Davison, Bad Axe, Marlette, Cass city, Imlay city and Frankenmouth . This position involves making sales calls to various light, medium and heavy duty service customers and fleets throughout the territory. The successful applicant's goal will be to maintain and grow the assigned territories wholesale market share by prospecting new trucking and heavy duty customers and by forming a profitable business partnership with the store's account base through: inventory management, training opportunities, Exceptional Customer Service (ECS), and presenting Auto Wares (AWI) and Company Store Group (CSG) programs and promotions. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Use all tools available and work with the store crew to provide Customer Satisfaction through "Exceptional Customer Service" Promote and sell products from all the Specialty Companies that make up Auto Wares Maintain communications with Manager and Sales Director and all assigned employees Check and respond to Company email a minimum of twice daily Work with the Store Manager to continually improve communications / service levels of your location. Submit daily sales calls, manage weekly agenda and sales route for maximum effectiveness Work with Factory Representatives to promote brand awareness, gain knowledge and grow sales. Prospect and develop new customers throughout the service area. Attend sales meetings as needed to gain knowledge and stay abreast of changes within the industry and company.
