Holiday Inn Express Howell is hiring for our next Hotel Sales Manager! In this role, you will work with our hotel management team, the VP of Sales, and our Revenue Management team to bring in new customers, and to maintain current customers for the hotel. Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and results-driven Hotel Sales Manager to lead our sales initiatives and drive revenue growth. In this dynamic role, you will develop and execute strategic sales plans, cultivate strong client relationships, and manage a high-performing sales team. Your expertise in B2B sales, management, and business development will be essential to expanding our hotel's market presence and achieving ambitious sales goals. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to make a significant impact within a vibrant hospitality environment. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to attract corporate clients, event planners, and travel agencies, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. Lead, manage, and motivate the sales team to meet or exceed revenue targets through effective coaching, training, and performance management. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners by providing exceptional customer service and tailored solutions. Conduct outside sales efforts by visiting prospective clients, attending industry events, and engaging in active networking to generate new business opportunities. Utilize CRM systems such as Salesforce to track leads, analyze sales data, generate reports, and optimize sales processes. Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and management teams to develop targeted campaigns and promotional initiatives that boost hotel visibility. Negotiate contracts and close deals with clients while ensuring mutually beneficial terms that support long-term partnerships. Qualifications Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or enterprise selling within the hospitality or corporate services sector. Strong management skills with experience leading sales teams or managing business development initiatives. Proficiency in CRM systems such as Salesforce Cloud, along with familiarity with sales management systems and analytics tools. Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales goals through strategic planning and negotiation skills. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build lasting customer relationships at all levels of an organization. Technical sales experience or familiarity with SaaS products is a plus; ability to leverage technology for effective client engagement. Strong analysis skills for interpreting sales data and market trends to inform decision-making.
