PennEngineering is seeking a driven, self-motivated hunter who thrives on opening doors, penetrating new accounts, and winning new business to join our PEM Sales Team. As the Business Development Manager covering the Automotive Industry , you'll collaborate with teams that do truly amazing things. The Business Development Manager is responsible for planning, developing, and directing the business development activities for the assigned customers as well as leading/guiding the engineering efforts necessary to support these business development activities. This will be accomplished through relationships with the customer base, knowing the product opportunities, and becoming the engineering focal point for the assigned customers. In addition, he/she supports the various brand strategies, including the support of the new product development projects that apply to the automotive market. This position requires significant experience in growing business within multiple industry OEMs and direct contact with design-responsible Tier 2 and Tier 3 suppliers through engineering development activities and relationships.
