CATERING DIRECTOR

Middle Eats is seeking a driven, highly organized, and relationship-focused Catering Director to lead and grow catering sales and operations across our expanding 9-location restaurant group. This position is responsible for driving catering revenue, developing new business relationships, overseeing catering execution, and building scalable systems that deliver exceptional guest experiences from inquiry to delivery. The ideal candidate is proactive, sales-minded, hospitality-driven, and thrives in a fast-paced environment while representing the Middle Eats brand professionally throughout the community.

SALES & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Prospect and develop new catering opportunities with local businesses, schools, hospitals, offices, event venues, sports organizations, and community groups Build and maintain strong client relationships to generate repeat catering business Conduct in-person visits, presentations, and community outreach efforts to grow brand awareness Introduce catering menus, packages, and corporate partnership opportunities Track leads, accounts, sales activity, and customer follow-up efforts

CATERING OPERATIONS

Manage catering orders from inquiry through successful completion Coordinate order details, logistics, delivery timing, staffing, and execution Communicate directly with restaurant locations to ensure operational readiness and accuracy Input and manage catering orders within company systems Ensure all catering orders meet Middle Eats hospitality and quality standards Resolve customer concerns or last-minute changes professionally and efficiently

CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE

Deliver exceptional communication and responsiveness throughout the catering process Build long-term relationships that create repeat clients and referrals Ensure professionalism, urgency, hospitality, and accuracy in every interaction

QUALIFICATIONS

Restaurant experience required Catering experience strongly preferred Experience in sales, hospitality, account management, customer service, or business development preferred Strong communication and relationship-building skills Highly organized with strong attention to detail Ability to multitask and manage multiple catering orders simultaneously Comfortable using computers, email, scheduling systems, and order platforms Reliable transportation and willingness to travel regularly Self-motivated, professional, and goal-oriented Ability to work independently while representing the brand at a high level
