The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving new business development initiatives across the Twin Cities market, while maintaining and expanding select existing client relationships. The successful candidate will spend the majority of their time identifying and developing new client opportunities while serving as a trusted workforce solutions advisor. What We're Looking For Relationship-focused consultative seller who develops trust and credibility with business decision-makers Entrepreneurial hunter who is energized by creating new business opportunities and generating revenue growth Professional communicator comfortable engaging senior leaders including HR, Operations, Directors, Vice Presidents, and C-Suite executives Self-motivated individual with strong business acumen and the ability to work independently Results-driven sales professional who embraces technology and continuous improvement Team-oriented contributor who values a collaborative onsite culture while managing a field-based sales territory Key Responsibilities Business Development & Sales Drive new business acquisition through prospecting, networking, referrals, cold outreach, and relationship development Generate and qualify new sales opportunities within assigned Twin Cities territory Conduct discovery meetings and needs assessments with prospective clients Present staffing, recruiting, and workforce solutions to business decision-makers Develop customized proposals and service solutions aligned to client needs Negotiate service agreements and secure new client partnerships Consistently achieve sales activity and revenue goals Account Management & Client Retention Maintain and grow relationships with existing client accounts Identify opportunities to expand services and increase market share within established accounts Conduct regular client visits and business reviews Ensure exceptional client satisfaction through proactive communication and responsiveness Partner with recruiting teams to deliver successful staffing outcomes Market Development & Networking Build and maintain a strong professional network throughout the Twin Cities business community Participate in industry associations, networking events, and business development activities Monitor local market trends and competitive activity Identify emerging opportunities and industries for growth Technology & Systems Utilize CRM and ATS platforms to manage sales pipelines, prospect activities, and client information Maintain accurate records of business development activities and sales forecasts Leverage technology and automation tools to improve efficiency and client engagement Experience with Bullhorn, Apollo, or similar CRM systems strongly preferred Minimum Requirements Bachelor's Degree required; Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred 3+ years of professional sales experience Experience selling business services, professional services, staffing services, hospitality services, copy/print services, or other consultative solutions preferred Demonstrated success developing new business and managing a sales territory Experience selling to HR leaders, Directors, Vice Presidents, Operations leaders, or C-Suite decision-makers preferred Strong consultative selling, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of organization Experience utilizing CRM technology, sales platforms, and digital business development tools

Base Salary:
