Inside Sales/Project Manager

Job description: Job Summary The Inside Sales/Project Manager manages projects from quote and order handoff through fabrication, installation, and closeout. This role coordinates customers, internal teams, vendors, and installers to deliver fabrication projects on time, within budget, and to specification. Projects support food processing, dairy, industrial, and commercial facilities. This position includes the opportunity to earn commission. Key Responsibilities Manage multiple projects from initial quote through fabrication, installation, and closeout Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and customer requirements Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, and installation timelines Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, contractors, engineers, and installers Coordinate internally with sales, engineering, purchasing, production, and shipping teams Release materials for fabrication and monitor production and delivery schedules Track project costs, change orders, margins, and inventory reorder points Support installers with drawings, field questions, and problem resolution Resolve issues related to site conditions, dimensions, sequencing, and scope changes Manage closeout documentation, punch lists, and customer sign-off Work independently to prioritize tasks, manage workload, and drive projects forward Qualifications Required 3+ years of project management experience in construction, manufacturing, or industrial environments Ability to read shop drawings and plans Strong organization, communication, and multitasking skills Must be able to work independently and take ownership of projects Preferred Experience with sheet metal or stainless fabrication Experience in food or dairy processing facilities Work Environment 10% travel required to customer sites and project locations Industrial and construction settings

Pay:

$56,000.00 - $73,000.00 per year
