Job Description
Job Summary Are you a driven sales professional who loves helping people turn their dream of owning a custom home into reality? America's Home Place is seeking an enthusiastic, customer-focused Sales Manager to join our team! As a Sales Manager, you will act as the primary guide for clients building custom homes on their own land. You will meet with prospective buyers at our local Building Center, consult on floor plans and personal design selections, manage quotes, and guide customers smoothly through the entire pre-construction sales process.
Key Responsibilities Consultative Sales :
Greet clients in our design center, guide them through our home-building process, and match their needs to our extensive catalog of custom floor plans.
Lead Management:
Convert warm company-provided leads into appointments and active sales opportunities.
Redline Floor Plans:
Review and redline floor plans, accurately documenting requested modifications and communicating changes clearly.
Design & Selections:
Walk clients through home options, finishes, colors, and upgrade selections to tailor homes to their specifications.
Pricing & Contracts:
Prepare accurate cost estimates, write purchase agreements, and navigate financing options/lending processes with clients.
Pipeline Coordination:
Collaborate closely with Sales Coordinators and Project Managers to ensure a seamless transition from point-of-sale to construction start.
Relationship Building:
Maintain strong, transparent communication with customers throughout the sales and planning phases to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
Qualifications & Skills Experience:
2+ years of successful consultative sales experience (experience in residential construction, new home sales, or real estate is a strong plus).
Communication:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a natural ability to connect with diverse clients.
Organization:
Strong attention to detail, deadline-oriented, and capable of managing multiple client pipelines concurrently.
Tech Savvy:
Comfortable utilizing CRMs (Oracle) and basic office/spreadsheet software (Google Workspace).
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent (College degree preferred); valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
