Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Patient Advocate & Business Development Manager to help grow referral relationships while guiding patients through the prosthetics and orthotics care process. This role works closely with healthcare providers, patients, hospitals, rehabilitation therapists, case managers, and community partners to ensure patients receive exceptional care and support throughout their mobility journey.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and maintain strong referral relationships with physicians, hospitals, rehabilitation centers, therapists, and case managers Support and advocate for patients throughout the prosthetic and orthotic care process Develop community outreach initiatives and business development opportunities Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure a positive patient experience Identify opportunities to increase referrals and strengthen community partnerships Help resolve patient or referral-source issues before they affect future referrals Attend community events, health fairs, support groups, and local healthcare networking events. Provide weekly updates and monthly reports to management.
Compensation & Benefits:
Base salary: $60,000 Performance-based bonus opportunity Total earning potential: $70,000 - $85,000+ based on performance
Qualifications:
Experience in healthcare outreach, patient advocacy, business development, or medical sales Strong communication and relationship-building skills Passion for helping patients regain mobility, confidence, and independence Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working in both clinical and community settings Comfortable making in-person visits and cold outreach. Organized and able to track activity consistently. Compassionate with patients and families. Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally.
