The Merrimack is seeking a Branch & Business Development Manager to lead our branch in Henniker, New Hampshire. This role is ideal for an experienced branch banking professional who thrives in a leadership role that blends team development, business development, customer service, lending support, operational oversight, and community engagement.

In This Role, You WillLead branch performance, daily operations, customer experience, and growth initiativesCoach, motivate, and develop branch team members while fostering accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvementBuild strong customer relationships through needs-based conversations, referrals, and relationship-driven serviceRepresent the bank in the community through business development, local involvement, and partnership-buildingSupport consumer, equity, and small business lending needs while maintaining strong product and service knowledgeEnsure compliance with bank policies, procedures, security standards, and applicable legal and regulatory requirementsParticipate in branch sales, strategic planning, budgeting, and goal achievementPartner with HR on hiring, performance management, employee development, and related employment mattersOpen and close the branch on a rotating basis and support additional branch needs as requestedWhat Were Looking ForThree to five years of related banking, branch operations, sales, business development, or leadership experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experiencePrevious supervisory or management experience with a proven ability to coach and develop othersStrong commitment to relationship selling, quality service, and community bankingExcellent communication, problem-solving, analytical, and negotiation skillsKnowledge of branch operations, consumer lending, bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirementsAbility to manage multiple priorities, take initiative, and adapt in a changing environmentProficiency with desktop applications and general office equipmentAbility to travel to other branches, departments, local businesses and business development meetingsAbility to work Saturdays when scheduled Why Join UsWe believe in building genuine partnerships that encompass top-of-the-line customer service delivered by a culture of teamwork, integrity and excellence.
