This role is responsible for driving revenue, developing and managing a high-performing catering team, and overseeing all aspects of catering sales, planning, and execution across a diverse range of university events and functions. Qualifications Proven experience as a Catering Director or senior catering leadership role within a university, hotel, resort, or similar full-service hospitality or food service environment Strong operational and financial skills with a demonstrated ability to drive catering revenue growth, manage budgets, and deliver exceptional event experiences across a diverse range of university functions and client needs Exceptional leadership and communication skills with the ability to recruit, develop, and inspire a high-performing catering team while building and maintaining strong relationships with university stakeholders, clients, and vendors Responsibilities Oversee all catering operations for the university, including event planning, coordination, and execution, ensuring exceptional service quality, guest satisfaction, and alignment with the university's brand standards and event expectations Drive catering revenue through proactive sales efforts, strategic planning, and collaborative engagement with culinary, events, and university leadership teams to maximize catering performance and growth Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing catering team while fostering a culture of hospitality, accountability, and continuous improvement in a dynamic university catering environment
