Our brands—Steel & O'Brien, Flowtrend, Top-Flo, and DSO—serve the food, beverage, dairy, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, data center, and other critical-process markets. We are seeking a Regional Sales Manager to grow customer relationships and revenue within an assigned Southeast territory. This role will promote our full portfolio, develop new business, and introduce products and capabilities added through internal development and acquisitions. What You'll Do Own customer relationships, revenue growth, and sales performance within the territory. Develop territory and account plans that strengthen existing relationships and uncover growth opportunities. Prospect for new distributors and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), including specification opportunities and competitive conversions. Build end-user relationships and increase awareness of Steel & O'Brien's sanitary and BPE products, brands, and capabilities. Communicate our Sanitary Simplified value proposition and recommend solutions that support safe, hygienic, and reliable operations. Expand customer adoption of our full portfolio, including new and acquired products and capabilities. Collaborate with inside sales, customer service, engineering, operations, and other teams to meet customer needs. Manage pipeline activity, forecasts, account information, and market intelligence using Salesforce, Power BI, and other company tools. Coordinate internal resources to resolve complex account, service, and growth issues. Monitor competitors, market trends, industry standards, and customer needs; share insights and recommend improvements. Maintain current sanitary and BPE industry knowledge through continuing education and professional networks. Perform other duties as assigned. How Success Is Measured Revenue growth and progress toward territory goals. Retention and expansion of existing accounts. Qualified new business from distributors, OEMs, end users, specifications, and competitive conversions. Pipeline quality, forecast accuracy, and complete, timely CRM activity. Strong account planning, follow-up, responsiveness, and issue resolution. Effective internal collaboration and successful introduction of new or acquired capabilities. Current market, customer, competitor, and industry knowledge. Success means consistently meeting territory goals, maintaining a credible pipeline, creating sustainable growth, earning customer trust, and following through on commitments. What You'll Bring Strong consultative selling, persuasion, negotiation, and closing skills. Ability to build trusted relationships with distributors, OEMs, end users, and customer leaders. Ability to understand technical products and translate customer needs into commercial solutions. Strong organization, follow-through, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities. Clear and professional written, verbal, phone, and email communication. Proficiency with Microsoft applications, Salesforce, Power BI, and related sales and reporting tools. Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in business, science, engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent education and relevant experience may be considered. Five or more years of related sales experience, including durable manufacturing, regional territory management, and distributor-based sales. Sanitary or BPE industry experience preferred but not required. Experience using Salesforce or a similar CRM to manage data. Location and Travel Remote position serving the Southeast United States, with preference for candidates in Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, or Florida. Candidates must live within the assigned region. Ability to travel up to 70%, including frequent overnight, air, and driving travel. Ability to safely navigate customer and manufacturing environments and use standard office, phone, and computer equipment. Work Environment and Physical Requirements Fast-paced manufacturing environment with possible exposure to noise and varying temperatures. Extended periods of standing, walking, and lifting.
