ABOUT CEDARGROWTH
Cedargrowth LLC is a Buffalo-based licensed cannabis processor focused on science, quality, consistency and innovation. We are launching a premium live rosin vape line and building toward a broader portfolio of solventless products and contract manufacturing partnerships. We are looking for hardworking, driven people who love the plant, believe in what they represent and take ownership of making things happen. We value positive energy, curiosity, collaboration and the commitment to build something exceptional.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an ambitious, relationship-driven Sales Manager to help launch our premium live rosin vape brand and grow its presence in dispensaries throughout New York State. You will be our boots on the ground: opening doors, meeting with dispensary owners and buyers, telling our story and turning product interest into orders. You will build on existing industry relationships while actively developing new accounts and managing your territory. We need someone who can make a compelling case for what sets our products apart, communicate their value with confidence and follow through consistently. Your ownership extends beyond the first sale. You will support retail partners, earn repeat business and bring market feedback back to Cedargrowth to help shape our products and growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Build and grow our dispensary network. Identify, prioritize and pursue accounts through outreach, in-person visits, industry relationships and consistent follow-up. Focus activity on accounts that align with our products, market opportunity and delivery coverage. Help lead the brand launch. Work with leadership and marketing to turn our launch strategy into buyer meetings, opening orders and retail placements. Coordinate commitments with approved launch timing, inventory availability and distribution capabilities. Tell a compelling product story. Clearly explain the value of solventless live rosin, our product standards and our hardware. Help buyers understand what makes the brand different and why it deserves a place on their shelves. Own the sales process. Manage opportunities from initial contact and product presentation through objections, closing, order coordination and ongoing account development. Work within approved pricing, payment terms and promotional guidelines. Build lasting retail relationships. Maintain regular contact with dispensary owners, buyers and staff. Be responsive, dependable and invested in each partnership, resolving concerns and coordinating support across the Cedargrowth team. Drive repeat orders and account growth. Track product movement, inventory levels and performance by account and SKU where information is available. Identify reorder opportunities, address barriers to sales and grow account value over time. Support retail education and presentation. Educate budtenders and retail teams using approved product information. Coordinate with marketing on displays, account materials and permitted events so staff can confidently introduce our products to customers. Coordinate payment expectations and follow-up. Communicate approved payment terms at the outset, flag potential payment issues early and partner with AP/AR on overdue balances. Coordinate account activity with finance and compliance when credit restrictions or order holds apply. Bring market feedback back to Cedargrowth. Gather feedback on product quality, pricing, hardware, customer preferences and competitor activity. Identify unmet needs and opportunities for new products, and share actionable findings with leadership, marketing and production. Maintain an accurate pipeline and forecasts. Keep account contacts, meeting notes, opportunities, orders and next steps current in the CRM. Provide weekly reporting on sales activity, account performance, expected orders and opportunities requiring support. Manage your territory effectively. Plan routes, meetings and follow-up to make productive use of travel time and expenses. Represent Cedargrowth with enthusiasm, professionalism and accurate product knowledge while following applicable sales and marketing requirements. Frequent statewide travel is expected. Collaborate with marketing and brand ambassadors. Coordinate dispensary events, budtender education and retail activations, participating as needed. Share insights from buyers, retail staff and customers to strengthen product talking points, address common questions and keep messaging consistent with what resonates in the market.
FIRST 90 DAYS
Milestones will be aligned with product readiness, the launch schedule and approved distribution coverage. Days 1-30: Complete product and compliance training, review existing relationships, build a prioritized account list and schedule meetings with key buyers. Days 31-60: Advance qualified opportunities into opening orders, coordinate fulfillment as products become available and organize retail education for new accounts. Days 61-90: Grow the base of active accounts, pursue first reorders and establish consistent weekly pipeline, account-performance and market-feedback reporting.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Five or more years of successful sales, business development or account management experience , with measurable results in winning and growing accounts. A proactive, competitive approach to opening doors, asking for the sale and following through. Confidence managing the full sales cycle, from cold outreach and presentations to objections, closing and repeat orders. Strong communication and listening skills, with the ability to connect with owners, buyers and retail staff. A genuine interest in cannabis and a willingness to develop deep knowledge of solventless processing, live rosin and our products. An understanding that lasting sales performance depends on both new business and strong customer relationships. Positive energy, a strong work ethic and the ability to manage your territory, calendar and priorities independently. Comfort using CRM software, tracking account performance and providing realistic forecasts. Willingness and ability to travel regularly throughout New York State. Cannabis wholesale experience, established relationships with New York dispensary owners and buyers, and experience launching a brand or developing a new territory are strongly preferred.
