Fine Jewelry Sales Manager Position Type:
Full-Time/Part-Time Experience Required:
Minimum 5 years of fine jewelry sales experience. Bengali/Hindi/Urdu Speaking is a plus Position Overview We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and dependable Fine Jewelry Sales Manager to join our team. This position is ideal for an experienced jewelry professional who has a strong passion for fine jewelry, exceptional customer service, and, most importantly, driving sales . The Sales Manager will play a key role in the daily operation of the store, leading by example on the sales floor, building strong client relationships, supporting team members, and ensuring the store operates at the highest level of professionalism. The ideal candidate is responsible, reliable, sales-driven, organized, confident, and eager to succeed in a fast-paced fine jewelry environment. Key Responsibilities Sales & Client Experience Drive sales and consistently work toward achieving and exceeding sales goals. Provide exceptional, personalized service to every client. Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and develop repeat business. Understand customer needs and confidently recommend appropriate jewelry based on style, occasion, budget, and preferences. Demonstrate strong knowledge of fine jewelry, diamonds, gemstones, gold, watches, and other luxury products. Effectively present, explain, and sell high-value merchandise. Follow up with clients regarding inquiries, special orders, repairs, purchases, and potential sales. Actively seek opportunities to increase sales through upselling, cross-selling, and client outreach. Maintain a strong sense of urgency and consistently look for opportunities to close sales. Store Management & Leadership Serve as a Key Holder and be trusted with opening and closing responsibilities. Open and close the store according to company procedures. Ensure the showroom is secure, organized, clean, and properly presented. Assist with daily store operations and ensure company policies and procedures are followed. Lead by example and maintain a professional, positive, and sales-focused environment. Support and motivate sales associates to reach their individual and team goals. Assist with training and coaching employees on product knowledge, customer service, and sales techniques. Help manage daily assignments and ensure responsibilities are completed. Communicate effectively with ownership and management regarding sales, customers, inventory, and store operations. Inventory & Security Handle fine jewelry and high-value merchandise with the highest level of care and responsibility. Assist with inventory organization, counts, transfers, receiving, and merchandise control. Maintain accurate records and ensure merchandise is properly secured. Follow all company procedures regarding keys, alarms, safes, inventory, and store security. Exercise sound judgment when handling high-value transactions and merchandise. Administrative & Operational Responsibilities Assist with opening and closing procedures, including securing merchandise and the premises. Assist with daily sales reporting and other store-related paperwork. Ensure customer information and sales records are maintained accurately. Communicate client requests, special orders, repairs, and other important information to management. Maintain a professional appearance and ensure the sales floor consistently reflects the standards of a fine jewelry business. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in fine jewelry sales is required. Proven track record of successfully selling fine jewelry and luxury merchandise. Strong knowledge of diamonds, gemstones, gold, jewelry styles, and luxury products. Previous key-holder, supervisory, or management experience preferred. Strong closing and relationship-building skills. Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Professional, polished, and customer-focused demeanor. Must be highly responsible, dependable, punctual, and trustworthy. Comfortable handling high-value merchandise and transactions. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and take initiative. Ability to lead by example and work effectively as part of a team. Must be comfortable working in a sales-driven environment with measurable goals . Maintaining possession and proper handling of store keys. Following all security and closing procedures. Ensuring the store is properly secured at the end of the day. Taking responsibility for the store during assigned shifts. Addressing routine operational issues and escalating significant issues to management. Ensuring employees follow store policies and procedures. Maintaining a professional and productive environment throughout the shift. Success in This Role Success in this position will be measured by a combination of sales performance, client relationships, reliability, leadership, professionalism, and overall contribution to the store's success .
