About Us:
We are a global manufacturer of Mining and Construction equipment that is looking for a dedicated and results-driven individual to focus on the development of our Demolition & Recycling attachment business in North America. Job Overview:
As a Business Development Manager , you will be responsible for expanding our market presence across North America and driving the growth of our Demolition and Recycling attachments. This role will require a highly strategic individual who can identify dealers and customers that work in this market segment, develop long lasting relationships, and understand the competitive landscape and be able to effectively communicate with high-profile customers that are working in Demolition & Recycling industry. This role will work closely with customers to understand their needs, provide tailored solutions, and ensure high levels of satisfaction. The ideal candidate shall have a strong background in sales and account management within the construction and demolition sectors, along with a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities in the Demolition & Recycling industry. This role will report directly to the North America Sales & Distribution Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and our business partners that support the demolition and recycling sectors. Identify, create plans and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base to increase our market share. Assist in technical guidance by working with our technical team to help support customers regarding our products and services. Develop a solid distribution network to expand our footprint in the Demolition & Recycling sector. Collaborate with internal teams to create customized solutions that meet customer requirements. Conduct regular site visits and assessments to understand customer operations and provide on-site support and feedback. Manage the sales process from lead generation through to closing. Implementing divisional commercial plans including pricing, marketing, budgeting, demand planning, performance management, and contract management. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of products and services to clients. Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to stay ahead of the curve. Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Actively participate in the commercial community through local trade shows and associations. Collaborate with marketing team to introduce new products.
Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of the Demolition & Recycling industry, equipment, and technologies. Proven experience in account management, sales, or business development, preferably in the Demolition & Recycling industry. Excellent listening, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively. Ability to identify customer needs and provide solutions that drive long-term business growth. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Willingness to travel extensively to customer and dealer sites as required. Bachelor's degree in business or a related field (preferred).
