Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and results-driven Account Manager/Business Development professional to join our team. Maslyk Landscaping provides both residential and commercial services in lawn/ landscape maintenance and installation, spring/ fall clean ups, pruning, mulching, tree removal, and seasonal color. We are seeking to hire a highly organized, self- motivated, positive individual who has exceptional, prompt, and professional communication skills. In this role, you will be at the forefront of expanding our client base, nurturing existing relationships, and driving revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives. Your expertise in the green industry, combined with exceptional communication and negotiation skills, will enable you to identify new business opportunities, manage key accounts effectively, and close high-value deals within a competitive sales environment. This position offers a vibrant opportunity to influence our growth trajectory while developing your professional skills in a fast-paced, innovative setting. Responsibilities Develop and execute strategic plans to identify and secure new business opportunities. Work cooperatively with landscape crew leaders and maintenance operation manager to direct landscape and maintenance crews on service orders with a detailed planned approach. Responsible for account management, including client retention, enhancement sales, and new contract sales both landscape and snow removal. Manage and grow existing customer accounts by providing tailored solutions that meet their needs. Lead engaging client communication efforts to understand their requirements and present proposals. Utilize CRM systems such as LMN to track sales activities, manage customer data, and analyze pipeline performance. Conduct calling campaigns to generate leads, follow up on prospects, and nurture relationships toward deal closure. Negotiate contracts and close sales deals effectively while ensuring mutual satisfaction for clients and the company. Meet or exceed sales goals consistently by applying strong sales management techniques. Lead negotiations with clients, demonstrating excellent sales negotiation skills. Assist in planning and scheduling daily activities. Follow all company policies and procedures to ensure company goals. Expected hours during the landscape season require flexibility. Potential work hours during the snow season include nighttime, weekends, and holidays to participate in snow removal activities. Manage relationships with contractors and other companies in order to obtain the best price possible for services. Guide employees and motivate them to achieve their daily tasks in budgeted time. Skills Strong negotiation, deal closing, and client relationship management abilities. Excellent communication skills. Expert knowledge of landscape maintenance standards, knowledge of plant material and installation. Demonstrated success in managing customer accounts and maintaining long-term client relationships. Ability to analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and develop strategic business development plans. Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams.
