A growing and established local organization is seeking an experienced District Manager to oversee daily operations across waste and recycling facilities. Key Responsibilities As a District Manager, you will: Oversee all aspects of daily operations, including personnel, production, safety, customer service, and regulatory compliance. Lead and develop teams through coaching, mentoring, training, and performance management. Implement operational strategies that improve efficiency, productivity, and profitability. Ensure operations are conducted safely, effectively, and in accordance with all applicable regulations. Optimize routing, dispatching, and logistics processes to maximize operational performance. Analyze operational and financial data to identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings. Establish strategic and operational goals and drive accountability for achieving results. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and customer-focused service. Collaborate with leadership to implement best practices and support organizational growth. Qualifications Required Experience & Skills Strong knowledge of operations management and organizational effectiveness. Experience managing routing, dispatch, fleet, or logistics functions. Understanding of business performance metrics. Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Strong organizational and project management abilities. Commitment to workplace safety, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.
