We are seeking an energetic, dynamic, and results-driven Automotive Sales Manager to lead, develop, and support our professional sales team at the Al Baumann Chevy Buick Dealership in Fremont, OH. In this pivotal dealership leadership role, you will be responsible for mentoring consultants on advanced sales techniques, tracking floor processes, and ensuring an unparalleled level of customer service. You will work closely with the General Manager to execute strategic business planning, manage inventory flow, and uphold our high standards for vehicle delivery.
Key Responsibilities:

Primary Focus:
Used Car Department Merchandising and organizing inventory Reconditioning inventory Appraising inventory Used car sales effectiveness and market share
Team Development :
Develop, support, train, and motivate a professional sales team while actively encouraging a cooperative, team-oriented showroom culture.
Mentorship & Sales Mastery:
Mentor sales team members on proper sales techniques to consistently close transactions and aggressively expand and uphold the dealership's customer base.
Business Planning :
Formulate precise monthly and annual strategic objectives for the sales team to ensure volume and profit targets are met.
Process & Control Management :
Track and manage the complete dealership sales process, which includes creating, implementing, and closely monitoring a rigorous customer search and sales control system.
Reporting:
Provide the General Manager with exact, transparent data and information regarding showroom floor activities on a strict daily and weekly basis.
Delivery Standards:
Establish, maintain, and audit high-quality standards for the final delivery process of vehicles to customers.
Campaign & Product Expertise:
Keep completely up to date on all manufacturer product line updates, incentives, rebates, and promotional novelties, as well as financial institution programs, and immediately notify the sales team of any changes. Satisfy franchise goals and requirements.
Communication:
Maintain highly efficient, proactive communication channels with all other departments throughout the dealership to ensure fluid operations.
Professionalism:
Model and enforce a highly professional appearance and demeanor on the showroom floor at all times.
Operational Agility:
Perform other specialized tasks and duties based on management requirements and instructions.
